Purebeauty Jasmine Water BB Cream

Korean beauty is much admired by most Filipinos; moist, lily-white flawless face without that heavy makeup look. BB or blemish balm creams originated from Germany as an aid for people who recently got their faces treated (laser, peeling etc). That’s the reason why BB creams are often multifunctional: coverage like a foundation, protection like a sunblock, and nourishment like a face cream. Now, BB creams are available to everyone.
I didn’t jump into the bandwagon immediately when BB creams were a budding craze. I thought they were just magical tinted moisturizers based on hype. Filipinos rave about BB creams because of Korean facial skin. I saw one at Watson’s on sale, so I decided to give it a try. Purebeauty Jasmine Water BB cream is my first BB cream, so I can’t make any comparisons. It’s way cheaper compared to other BB creams which cost Php500-Php4,000. This normally costs Php300. One may lose trust over a BB cream this cheap. As printed on the box, Aesthetic Medical International (AMI) manufactures it, and it is the same manufacturer of BRTC BB creams, so I thought this wouldn't be awful.
30 ml and it comes with an SPF 30 PA++. It says on the box: “Triple function Blemish Balm Cream helps correct skin tone and repair wrinkles, with added UV protection.” It has a cool undertone, so sallow complexions may be improved. Nevertheless the cream seems to “melt” within the skin, and within a few minutes, I seem to be wearing no makeup, just moist even skin (although not as good as a Korean’s ). It contains five natural extracts, allantoin, adenosine, niacinamide, vitamin e (tocopheryl acetate), arbutin (whitening) and titanium dioxide (sunscreen). Titanium dioxide however, gives a white cast on the skin. The ugly components of this BB cream, as per usual, are parabens, methyl, propyl and butyl, petrolatum and Aluminum Hydroxide. Because of AlOH, you’d notice lesser perspiration on the face, but AlOH is famously linked to breast cancer. The colorants are iron oxides.

I usually spray water on my face before applying any BB cream just so it won't be so white and spreading it will be easier. i just use my fingers.
So will I buy this again? This is my first BB cream so it won’t hurt to try other brands.
